Our weekly church services are each Sunday morning at 10 a.m. The Glasgow Evangelical Church is located at 152 Aberdeen, in Glasgow, Montana - just across the street from the high school.

Jay's Teaching Letter #36: Are We Humans More Righteous Than God?
ARE WE HUMANS MORE RIGHTEOUS THAN GOD? (By Pastor Jay, teaching letter #36)

We humans seem to be more righteous than God. Consider the following examples. (1) Some may say that we humans learn to be tolerant of people from all walks of life. We live and let live. But God seems intolerant, threatening to condemn people who fail to live by His truths. (2) We know family and friends who are really nice people. They would not hurt anyone and they often go out of their way to help others. We would never say they deserve hell. But apparently God tells us they will not be saved if they do not believe in Christ. (3) As parents, we would not do anything to hurt our children or put them in danger. We do all we can to protect our children and we want what is best for them. God could do the same, but he lets His people suffer evils and even violent cruel deaths and does nothing to intervene and help them. (4) We want to see justice done and not let people ...more
